Anyone who’s had the misfortune of having to endure my company during any interlude of more than a couple of hours between feedings will be well aware of food’s importance to me! I really enjoy, not only the eating, but also the preparation of food.  Living in Norway is notoriously expensive, and this certainly doesn’t stop at basic food shopping, so all my cooking here is on a pretty tight budget! I particularly enjoy “winging it” with whatever I’ve got in the cupboards and trying to bash together something tasty, a skill I picked up from my mum. It came to me whilst out running, midway through a bog somewhere in Gropmarka, that maybe I could share some of my more successful experiments on here.

So, some tasty and (mostly) healthy recipes on a budget!
